Dear Friends of Camp,
For this is what the Lord has commanded us: "I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth." Acts 13:47
For the past 70 summers, God has transformed lives at Upper Peninsula Bible Camp. It is possible your life has been one of those impacted for Jesus Christ. Since 1999, the Board of Trustees have been seeking God's direction regarding a year round ministry. And now we sincerely believe God is leading us to follow Him to expand the life-changing ministry of UPBC.
As we move forward, Camp's ministry impact will multiply by over six times (52 weeks a year vs. 8 weeks a summer). Our programming will expand in two ways:
- By utilizing the summer facilities in the Spring and Fall, and, - By the addition of a winterized facility with dynamic programs throughout the remaining year.
God loves to stretch our faith. To date, He has provided a building plan, site approval and a builder. As a board, we have decided to move ahead with a campaign to raise the necessary funds for the new Retreat Center. We are asking you to pray with us that God will continue to lead and we will continue to follow.

UPBC Board members consists of a group of
servants who make the big decisions about Camp
(like the new Septic System or updating the Dining
Hall Kitchen recently). Each year, the term expires
for some Board members, and there is a vote at
the Annual Meeting in October to determine who
will continue to serve on the Board. There are
currently 15 Board Members. The UPBC Board
meets several times throughout the year to discuss
important matters about Camp.
